This is a question I see cropping up in various Yandex forums and it usually stems from one of two wider questions, or both, these being:
- How Yandex handles JavaScript
- Yandex & Behavioural Factors
It also sometimes stems from the Google myths around tabbed/accordioned/hidden content on page load.
The short answer, is yes – Yandex can read links hidden on initial page load, as long as it is able to access them. And whilst CTR does play a part as a behavioural factor, individual link clicks on your site don’t play a role in this.
