Yandex Browser has rolled out a set of new tools based on the YandexGPT neural network. These tools are designed to assist users with various content-related tasks, making everyday work easier and more efficient.
New Neuroeditor for Content Creation and Editing
One of the key features is the neuroeditor. This tool helps users create text from scratch or improve existing content. It detects errors, rewrites material in different styles, and adapts content for various formats.
The neuroeditor can also shorten texts or break them into list items, making them suitable for presentations. Available via the “Edit” button next to any site in the Browser, the editor supports both Russian and English languages.
Advanced Translation Tool
Another useful addition is the translator powered by YandexGPT. This tool can handle translations in 100 languages and is capable of adapting vocabulary to specific subject areas.
Whether you’re writing a scientific article or a blog post, the translator will pick the correct terminology for the context. It also allows users to translate not only text, but also images and links to websites.
The expert Translator is currently available in beta and can be accessed by clicking the button under the Browser’s search bar.
Text Summarization Feature
Yandex Browser now includes a summarization tool that can condense lengthy texts, such as scientific papers or novels, into brief or detailed summaries.
The feature organizes the summary into chapters with subtitles, making it easier to navigate the content. This functionality is available for text, video, and common document formats such as PDF, DOCX, and TXT.
YandexGPT and YandexART Integration
These new tools are part of Yandex’s integration of YandexGPT and YandexART, which began in February 2024. Since then, users have been able to generate images and process text directly through the Browser interface.
