Yandex.Lavka is set to launch its delivery service internationally, under the Yango brand – the international face of Yandex Go.
Yango launched the grocery delivery service in Israel in 2020 under the Yango Deli Brand and is now recruiting staff in Paris for a newly registered French company.
In the press release from Yandex, they stated that:
In France, Yandex’s Yango Deli will use the company’s tried and tested model of hyperlocal delivery in 10-15 minutes from dark stores, supported by its proprietary technologies and know-how. It will take orders via its own app.
They’ve also announced that they plan to launch the service in London before the end of 2021.
