Revenue exceeded analysts’ expectations: the consensus forecast for the first quarter was 69.8 billion rubles, and the highest expectations did not exceed 71.6 billion rubles. However, the company’s adjusted net income fell 43% to RUB 2.2 billion. The reason is the consolidation of Yandex.Market, which the company bought from Sberbank last year.
After a rather successful first quarter, Yandex analysts increased their revenue forecast: now the company plans to earn RUB 315–330 billion in a year against RUB 305–320 billion, which it had counted on earlier.
