The international brand Yandex Lavki, the food delivery service Yango Deli, has stopped working in Paris and London.Ā Now Yandex will offer delivery management technologies to other services.
The French division of Yango Deli is now in liquidation.Ā The process will be completed within the next 2-3 months.Ā The service in London was never able to find a new owner.
According to a Yandex spokesperson, the company in London and Paris has changed its business model and is now focused on IT solutions for managing delivery to third-party customers.Ā This will be done by a new division of Yandex Yango Deli Tech.
Interest in Yandex technologies is shown in the CIS countries and the Middle East.Ā The company expects to continue operating on the express delivery model in Israel and Russia.
Recall that the express delivery service for products Yandex Lavka wasĀ launchedĀ in France under the Yango Deli brand in August 2021.Ā The service launchedĀ in the UK inĀ October last year. Yandex-owned Deli International Limited’ has opened four dark stores in London with a reach of 1.4 million people.
In March 2022, Bloomberg firstĀ reportedĀ Yango Deli’s plans to leave the French and UK markets.
